Avery C. Demland

Avery C. Demland is a Hicksville native who joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University before attending Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, where she developed the analytical and advocacy skills that now serve clients throughout Northwest Ohio.

Avery is an advocate who is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence and clarity. Her practice includes estate planning and administration, real estate matters, domestic relations, business law, guardianships, appellate work, landlord-tenant matters, eviction proceedings, and general civil practice. She also serves as the Village Solicitor for the Village of Hicksville, providing legal counsel and representation on municipal matters. Avery represents both individuals and businesses across Northwest Ohio, including Henry, Williams, Fulton, and Defiance counties and the surrounding communities.

Known for her practical approach and strong attention to detail, Avery works closely with clients to understand their goals and provide thoughtful, effective legal solutions tailored to their needs. Whether assisting families with estate planning, representing landlords in eviction proceedings, advocating in domestic relations matters, or guiding business and municipal clients through legal challenges, she is dedicated to delivering responsive and dependable representation.

Avery is admitted to practice law in Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Williams County Bar Association. She is also active in the local community, volunteering for Justice Animal Rescue and the board of the Williams County Community Theater.

Outside of her legal practice, Avery enjoys driving for her family’s race team, One Five Motorsports, which competes in the IHRA Stock Car Series. She previously served as an assistant volleyball coach at Hicksville High School and enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats.
